Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed for lunch 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Do I need a permit for a recreational fire?
If you live in the city limits and do not have a contained fire pit you must obtain a burning permit from the Town Hall office at 45 Everett Street.
How do I get water?
To have water services turned on at a location you must come to Town Hall to fill out an application and pay a deposit. Water services can be turned on or off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

What is the garbage pick up schedule?
The Town of Bryson City will pick up commercial and residential garbage on the following schedule:
Commercial: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Residential: Thursday (Hospital side of the river) and Friday (Main Street side of the river)
What is the recycling pick up schedule?
The Town of Bryson City will pick up recyclables on the following schedule:
Monday- Cardboard ONLY
Tuesday- Glass & Cardboard
Wednesday- Residential & Commercial
Thursday- Cardboard
Friday- Cardboard
*Recycling must be outside of building/residence.
